Confidential Cheese Feminised

Does Confidential Cheese finish outdoors in Ireland? It does, planted out at the end of May and cut by early October. A compact 73/27 plant is easier to shelter and easier to hide, though the density that makes it worth growing is also what holds water after rain. Bloom takes 8-9 weeks, so the harvest date is set by the calendar far more than by your technique.

What should I expect to take off it? 395-490 g/m² indoors and 400 grams outdoors are the published figures, and both assume a full light or a full season plus a root run to match. A tunnel gets you most of the way to the outdoor number; a windowsill will not. At 16% THC the effort is well spent either way.

Is it a sensible first grow? Yes. It survives the things that go wrong in a first attempt — forgotten waterings, a feed mixed by eye, a shed that is cold by morning — and still produces something worth curing.

Soil or coco? Coco with fertigation at EC 1.4-1.8 through bloom if you are there daily and want speed. Peat-free soil with slow amendments — fish, blood and bone, seaweed meal, rock phosphate — if you are not, and want flavour. Both suit this indica; the deciding factor is your week, not the plant.

How does it handle the weather here? The dense canopy shades itself, which is useful on the handful of genuinely warm days and a liability in a wet week. Mulch the root zone, water early, and keep air moving underneath.

When does bloom feed start? Within a week of the first pistils. The 73/27 balance shifts demand quickly at the transition — phosphorus and potassium up, nitrogen down. Soil growers top-dress; coco and hydro switch formula immediately.

Tunnel, outdoors or indoors? A tunnel is the best value of the three here. Indoors you own the 8-9 weeks of bloom completely; outdoors the plant gets light no lamp matches and can reach 400 grams, and pays for it in rain. Flowering: 8-9 weeks. Indoor yield: 395-490 g/m². Outdoor yield: 400 grams. Plant height: 90-120 cm. Medium. Rated beginner difficulty.

The catalogue lists relaxed, sleepy, happy, and that matches what growers here report back. At 16% THC this indica sits where the dose is the whole question. One bowl through a vaporiser at 185°C leaves the head working and the body easy, which is what most people are after on a weeknight. More than that moves it firmly towards sedation. The Myrcene and Humulene together leave earth and faint sweetness, with fruit at the end.

Suited to evenings in, recovery after work, and the hour before sleep.

Primary: Myrcene · Secondary: Humulene · Tertiary: Linalool. Temperature decides how much of this profile survives. Low vaporisation at 180-188°C keeps humulene and linalool audible over the myrcene; run it hotter, or burn it, and all three collapse into one note that is pleasant enough and tells you nothing.

Confidential Cheese suits growers at any stage, a first outdoor season included. It tolerates the ordinary early mistakes — watering by habit rather than by weight, a feed that drifts, a tunnel that runs cold overnight — without the crop coming apart. Photoperiod genetics leave plant size and harvest date under your control — veg longer for a bigger plant, or flip early when the ceiling is low. A bloom of 8-9 weeks fits inside the season here for outdoor growers, with a tunnel making it comfortable rather than tight.
