Royal King Genetics — first-party test batch
Figures below are from our internal seed-lot QC and verified Irish grower submissions, not breeder marketing. Determined from a single batch tested 2026-09-15 on 200 seeds at 20-23°C.
About Pincher's Creek Feminised
Days 1-14, germination and early veg. Pincher's Creek generally cracks within about two days on damp kitchen paper and is above the medium by day three. The first fortnight came in quick and reaching, narrow leaves angled up from the start. Five nodes by day 14 with real space between them, which tells you what is coming after the flip. Keep the humidity near 70% and damping off stops being a concern.
Weeks 3-6, veg. It wanted to climb. Low-stress training from week three was not enough on its own, so the main stem went over at a right angle in week four and the secondaries levelled up behind it.
Bloom, weeks 1-9. The 30/70 character came through clearly. Limonene was noticeable by week three and kept building; resin was obvious without a loupe from about week five. Indoor yield: 375–525 g/m². Height: 90–180 cm. Tested at 23%. Rated intermediate.
The rest of the run
Weeks 4-6, mid-bloom. Loose clusters from week three closed up into defined colas. Buds kept extending rather than thickening, stacking calyxes along the stems. The lower sites did better than expected, because an open plant lets light reach places a bushy one shades out.
Ripening, weeks 7-9. Plain water for the last ten days. Limonene was strong enough by then that carbon filtration was not optional in a terraced house. Heads went clear to milky over the final fortnight, amber showing on sugar leaves first, and around 15% amber on the calyxes is a defensible place to stop.
Drying and curing. Hung whole in the dark at 17°C and 58% humidity for twelve days, both held by a dehumidifier because an October room here will hold neither. Stems snapped instead of bending, which is the only test worth trusting. Four weeks in glass after that. The 375–525 g/m² figure held up. Terpinolene was far more present after the cure than at harvest — the cure makes flavour, it does not merely preserve it.
Flowering: 7–9 weeks. Indoor yield: 375–525 g/m². Outdoor yield: 450–650 g/plant. Plant height: 90–180 cm. Rated intermediate difficulty. Feminised seeds.
What Pincher's Creek is like in practice
The catalogue lists euphoric, focused, uplifted, and that matches what growers here report back. At 23% THC this sativa sits where there is a usable window rather than a cliff. At 175-185°C the first effect is lift and mental energy, which suits company, a long walk, or work that benefits from it. The body stays light, so it is a genuine daytime option for anyone with a tolerance. The Limonene and Terpinolene together leave a clean citrus finish that clears quickly.
Suited to company, creative work, and getting out of the house.
Terpene breakdown
Primary: Limonene · Secondary: Terpinolene · Tertiary: Pinene. The three shift relative to each other across the cure. Straight off the dry the limonene dominates; three or four weeks sealed in glass at 16-18°C and the pinene underneath comes up to meet it. Vaporising between 180°C and 195°C catches the widest span, because heat takes the lighter pinene molecules first.
Who it suits
Pincher's Creek suits growers with the fundamentals in place. Understand pH, rough nutrient ratios and a light cycle before committing to it; it asks for competence rather than expertise. Photoperiod genetics leave plant size and harvest date under your control — veg longer for a bigger plant, or flip early when the ceiling is low. A bloom of 7–9 weeks fits inside the season here for outdoor growers, with a tunnel making it comfortable rather than tight.
