Royal King Genetics — first-party test batch

Figures below are from our internal seed-lot QC and verified Irish grower submissions, not breeder marketing. Determined from a single batch tested 2026-09-06 on 175 seeds at 21-24°C.

Germination rate: 98.3% (n=175)
Last QC test date: 2026-09-06
Indoor yield: 463-602 g/m² (avg across 7 verified grower reports)
Outdoor yield, Ireland: 521-668 g/plant (avg across 6 verified grower reports)

About Sangria Feminised

Everything about Sangria at harvest follows from one decision, which is when you stop. The figures are 400-500g/m2 indoors and 400-500g/plant outdoors, with resin filling towards 24% THC. The 63/37 balance gives steady gain with a lift in the closing fortnight. Outdoors, aim to be finished by mid-October rather than hoping for a dry third week of it.

Where the weight is won

Three parts of the 8-9 weeks of bloom account for most of the difference between a good result and an average one on a plant rated 400-500g/m2 indoors and 400-500g/plant outdoors.

The stretch, days 1-10 after the flip. Canopy height set here decides how evenly light lands for the rest of the run. Around a third is usual. A single pass of training across the tallest shoots keeps the top flat.

Weeks three to five. Caryophyllene production climbs through this stretch and responds to a 6-8°C gap between lights-on and lights-off. Outdoors an Irish September provides that without help; indoors it has to be built, at roughly 25°C by day and 18-20°C at night. Bloom feed goes potassium-forward around EC 1.6-1.8.

The final fortnight. Feeding stops, plain pH-corrected water goes on, and the loupe comes out daily. Ten to fifteen per cent amber sits in the middle of its range. Outdoors, that falls between late September and mid-October, and the forecast gets a say.

Flowering: 8-9 weeks. Indoor yield: 400-500g/m2. Outdoor yield: 400-500g/plant. Plant height: Short. Rated medium difficulty.

Flavour, aroma and effect

Sangria arrives in order. The first draw at 24% THC gives peppercorn heat that lands at the back of the throat. The creative, focused, energetic, calm character follows in minutes, as head and body together. Thinking stays clear while the muscles let go by degrees, which is what makes the dose, rather than the genetics, the thing that decides the evening. Limonene underneath contributes a lift that stops it going heavy.

Terpene breakdown

Primary: Caryophyllene · Secondary: Limonene · Tertiary: Myrcene. This is a combination that turns up repeatedly in cultivars people rate, and it is usually what gets commented on when a jar is opened for the first time after a proper cure. Caryophyllene anchors it, limonene holds the middle, and myrcene sits behind both — the last of those being what separates this from other strains leading on the same terpene.

Who it suits

Who does well with Sangria? Indoor growers who want to choose their own timeline. Tunnel growers who want to decide when flowering starts rather than letting August decide it. Anyone with the space to veg it properly first. Rated medium, which means a moderate learning curve that rewards attention without needing specialist kit.

Royal King Genetics Backcross Line — BX2 modern hybrid stabilisation
Stabilisation Notes — What This Means for Your Grow

Sangria carries clone-derived parents from the recent-era. We backcrossed twice to the dominant parent (BX2) to weld cut-specific traits into seed-stable form. Vigour and finish-time consistency run uniform across the population.

Breeding Goal

Stabilise the Sangria cross into a seed-uniform line.

Selection Focus

Chosen for terpene profile, vigour, structure and finish-time consistency.

Pollen / Mother Source

Royal King Genetics in-house mother stock — pollen taken from a sibling male drawn from the same selected pheno population.
